  • The Departmental Federation of Defense Groups against Harmful Organisms of Reunion is a professional agricultural union created in 1976 . It is recognized OVS (Organism with Health Vocation*) in the plant sector according to the decree of March 31, 2014. It serves as a relay for the State to guarantee the sanitary quality of Reunion's plant production.

    It is administered by 19 producers representing municipal (16) and inter-municipal (3) groups on Reunion Island. It has been chaired since December 9, 2021 by Mr. Hoarau Thierry of the GDON du Tampon.
