RIAM - Network of agro-ecological initiatives in Morocco

The RIAM is made up of people, collectives or autonomous structures united by the agroecological approach and its values.

The raison d'être of the RIAM is to offer a space for meeting, information and sharing between the actors of agroecology in Morocco, favorable to the birth of synergies between the initiatives they carry. RIAM manifests itself through the links and interrelationships between its actors/members.

The specific objectives of RIAM are:

• Connect the actors of agroecology in Morocco through the exchange of information, the capitalization of experiences and the pooling of energies in the service of common objectives.
• Support agroecological initiatives in Morocco: offer them visibility and common recognition, identify and mobilize resources useful for the realization of projects, strengthen the skills of actors.
• Seed civil society as a whole: raise awareness of the emergency, disseminate alternatives and promote agroecological initiatives, invite mobilization and encourage the emergence of new initiatives

RIAM works for the emergence and development of agroecology in Morocco by sharing common and transversal objectives in the various activities: Contributing to the autonomy of communities, Contributing to food sovereignty and health, Contributing to the preservation and to the enhancement of the universal natural heritage.
