INRAB

INRAB is a public establishment of a scientific and technical nature endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy. INRAB has replaced the Agricultural Research Department (DRA) since 1992. Its main mission is to produce technologies for the rural world in harmony with the preservation of natural resources and thus to contribute to the advancement of science.

Actions are carried out mainly in the form of sectoral and regional programs adopted by the National Committee for Agricultural Research and the Board of Directors of the Institute. These programs essentially aim to solve the problems faced by producers and to propose a more rational management of natural resources. The regional programs promote the participation of users in the definition of research themes, in their monitoring and evaluation. With proper integration of research and development, these programs will offer better conditions for technology transfer.

The specific objectives of each regional program vary according to the problem of the region.
